praise for Annex‘s World Premiere Production
2023 Hollywood Fringe Festival

“Captivating! The story perfectly mixed serious topics like relationships and mental health with lighthearted comedy.”

“Maddox Pennington has a unique attention to nuance and an ability to devise situations and characters.”

“I loved that such deep, potentially painful subject matter was being treated with a playful sense of narrative absurdity, and that complicated topics were discussed openly and frankly.”

“This show delved deep into several heavy themes, completely unafraid to face the most vulnerable issues head-on. This unapologetic boldness pays off thoroughly in its connection with the audience.”
